My animated gif is about the impact of being in love after going through a difficult break up with the person I believed to be my first love. I approached my idea by thinking about my recent experience, however, instead of portraying the breakup as a negative event I viewed it from a different perspective – the positives that came out of the loving relationship we had before it ended poorly. I remember hearing those three words for the first time and feeling absolute euphoria which, I could not even describe if I tried to today. Being loved is an experience that cannot be compared to anything else, and I wanted to display the pure innocence and bliss within this by animating a little cat filled with love and joy as a result of its experience.
